Artist Spotlight: Julez Local DMV Multi Genre DJ. I am 11+ years in the electronic music world. 6+ years going strong on the 1s and 2s. *Below is a list of affiliations* I originally began as a die hard breakbeat DJ/lover/connoisseur and over the years have found myself diving head first into drum & bass and several different sub-genres of house, as well as dabbling with techno and psytrance. I have always loved music and played the French horn for 7 years. Upon graduating high school I had lost most of my musical outlets.. I quickly found the underground electronic music world and thus began my journey to finding myself also pressing buttons and turning knobs! It has helped save my life many times throughout the last several years. It has given me purpose and given a cathartic way to feel and release all the dark and scaries. DJing has pushed me towards the path of creating/producing my own music and sound and everyday I get closer and closer to making this dream a reality!
